My story began in 1998 when, after graduating from Economics, I didn’t know exactly which way to go. That’s when I got a job as Manager Trainee at McDonald’s and had one of the most interesting experiences. Two years of work and education of the teenage rebellion followed. I was able to understand practically the business principles, what it means to have a team under control, very high responsibilities towards customers and especially towards colleagues, and I also understood what you can and can’t ask of from your team.
The result came in a natural way, I opened my own business together with my husband, Ciprian, the field being different but very challenging. Ten years of interior design projects followed, many sleepless nights, a lot of work and information accumulation. Self-taught by nature, I learned something new all the time, whether a new computer program, new products, technologies, etc.
After a period of 10 years and a lot of work, I felt the need to escape from the system, a sensation that many people have in their lifetime, but as a person who does what she wants, me family and I decided to migrate to other continents, to create our own story and not regret the step we could take and out of fear of the unknown we would not have made it.
It turned out once again that it was not only the system that could make a difference in quality of life, but education and roots, so I returned in a few years to the country, more mature and eager to do the job, although at that time I had no idea what I wanted to do.
The end of 2016 came with the revelation I needed, I discovered in the field of medical optics many of the things I already loved, fashion, interior design, business, health, as well as the opportunity to serve the client, talk to him and help him in the choices he has to make.
Thus, 2017 arrived with fresh forces, I was already determined and followed the clear steps of education, business plan and team formation. That’s how I joined the great family of medical optics, met wonderful people, found reliable partners and managed to fall irrevocably in love with this field.
2018 was a year full of events, fairs and beautiful moments in this new and challenging field, I honestly think it’s one of the fullest years I had till now.
I feel proud and fulfilled that I have made this choice, I still want to develop and be better at what we do.

Since childhood, I perceived as something positive visiting the ophthalmologist. Later, in high school, I discovered that I love science and that I want a career in which I can help people.
Optometry was the perfect choice for me! It’s been more than 14 years since I chose the path of optometry, continually perfecting myself.

I graduated from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, specializing in OPTOMETRY – and I hold two master’s degrees at the same university – “Optometry – testing and prescription” and “Advanced Optometry” – at the latter I also obtained my diploma as an optometrist engineer. Today, my priority is to provide adequate care to OptikGallery clients and I am glad that I can carry out my passion in a professional setting, with state-of-the-art equipment and a positive and always united team.
I started practicing in the field of medical optics in 1999. From day one I was delighted and wanted to learn more and improve myself. I took the courses of optician and then those of optometrist.
Professional development attracted new opportunities, I became a store manager where I was able to participate actively in the process of launching stores, but also in the training of staff.

I also attended the Faculty of Management and Marketing and master’s in Marketing Strategies. Communication is very important in this area, and listening carefully and showing empathy, I have been able, all these years, to see satisfied people and to maintain a fruitful and long-lasting relationship with them. I love what I do and so I trust myself and the company I represent, namely Optik Gallery.
My other passions are flowers and music, nature, travel and the mountain.
If I were to turn back the clock, I’d choose the same path! Perhaps one of the noblest professions is that of optician and I think that over time I had this passion in myself, which is why I chose to work in the distribution of frames of vision and sunglasses for a very long time.
I’ve been closer to people’s needs in the field of optics for eight years, and for two years since I’ve been on the Optik Gallery team I’ve been happy to offer expert advice to clients who have access to an amazing selection of glasses – frames, sunglasses or eyeglasses and a wide range of lenses.

Another passion of mine is fashion, and just as we love shoes, bags and jewelry because they show off our features, so our eyes are the ones that attract the attention of those around us. Therefore, it is important that your glasses really complete your appearance and personality, and I’m glad I can combine the pleasant with the useful at the same time.
I am a graduate of the Faculty of Product and Environmental Design – Optometry specialization, at the Transylvania University in Brasov. After completing my four years of study, I felt the need for a change so I left behind my soul city – Brasov and came to Bucharest for another two years of study at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
I started to work in the field of medical optics four years ago and not long after I realized that it’s what I like to do. My humanistic spirit intertwined with the technical skills I have acquired during the years of study creates the perfect bond to be able to help people, making them see better, live better and give due importance to sight.

Communication is one of the essential elements in my job, which is why I like to learn as much as possible about the people I help. I do this with love and joy and this is reflected in the smiles of the people I meet. I believe that just as every man is unique, so every pair of glasses is unique and must identify with absolutely all the needs of the wearer.
I’m happy to be part of the Optik Gallery team for a year and a half and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together.
I’m a great lover of books, travel and coffee. I believe very much in the power of example and I am sure that any goal can be achieved if you work hard enough.
